The sprawling IT hub in Pune has seen phenomenal growth in the past ten years. With many expanding businesses, new ones coming in, and residential towers coming up in various phases of Hinjewadi, the IT park has become a thriving place, compared to once desolate open grounds. Hyatt Place Hinjewadi, Pune caters to both, the business customer and the residents of Hinjewadi, Pune. The 24/7 Gallery Cafe offers a good balance of choice and fresh food. Hyatt Hinjewadi buffet rates start at 700 for lunch and slightly more for Dinner. The Breakfast buffet is 400.
For those going to work in Hinjewadi, you can have an early start to your weekend with their Friday Brunch . The Friday Brunch comes with (1399) or without (899) unlimited booze options. Think Friday noon is too soon? Well, there always 5 O’ Clock somewhere.
The 24/7 Gallery Cafe at Hyatt Hinjewadi has a nice airy feel. The ceiling high windows give you a good view of the offices at a distance. Although minimalist, the seating is spacious and you can have a group conversation without interference or worrying about disturbing anyone else. The open kitchen gives you a nice view of what’s happening behind the scenes and feel the bustle of a busy kitchen.
The Hyatt Hinjewadi buffet is designed to accommodate all tastes. And if you want something specific, the chef at the restaurant will be happy to whip up something special for you. The salad bar at the buffet is quite extensive. You can choose from the pre-made salads or mix one for yourself from the various dressings and oils on the salad station.
The buffet comes with two Vegetarian and two Non-Vegetarian appetizers, which are served at the table. We tried Fish Koliwada the other day and it was delicious. The fish was flaky and soft and the batter instantly reminds you of Malwani spice mix that takes you to the coastal areas of Maharashtra.
And like the Indian food, the oriental fare at 24/7 Gallery Cafe is equally delicious. Whether it is chilly chicken or Paneer, you will get a unique and different taste for each preparation. The Sichuan Paneer was another appetizer that won us over during our last visit to the Cafe.
For those who want to stick to the usual Indian barbecue options when it comes to appetizers, the Tikka is definitely not something you would want to miss.
You can continue your affair with appetizer-type food, if you do not feel like having the usual Dal-Roti-Subzi. The live chat counter opens up many options and you can get your favorite chaat dish to your table.
The Indian food main course options on the buffet too are good and different. Vegetarians will love the green Nargisi Kofta, while meat lovers have a succulent Chicken Kofta stuffed with Apricots. The mild yellow curry of Chicken Kofta had just enough heat to allow you to taste the other subtle spices of the curry.
The Asian options on the buffet are equally exciting. With simple and fresh preparations like Chinese Greens and some new preparations like the Sweet and Sour Chicken, the buffet offers a complete range of Asian food. So you can stick to all Indian or all Asian for you entire meal with Asian starters and noodles and rice for the mains.
If you are celebrating, then desserts are a must-have. There’s no ice-cream. Do I hear a bigg sigh? Not to worry, you can order any of the listed flavors if you want the ice-cream over some really really mouth-watering desserts. From traditional Indian Moong Dal Halwa with loads of Desi Ghee, to a fresh and creamy Fruit truffle, the Desserts section too has something for every one in your group.
But you probably wouldn’t want to get stuffed and go back to to your desk to slog for another five hours. The limited menu at the cafe gives you the option to go for your favorites and skip the trips to the buffet. If you are aiming for a quick lunch, the menu has some yummy sandwiches and wraps. I would definitely suggest that you go for the Creamy Mushroom Spaghetti. The one we had came with loads of Parmesan and the sauce was just right to coat the spaghetti and not run around your pasta plate.
