Rescuing Christmas Plot
In the midst of a Christmas funk after a heartbreaking breakup last year, talented freelance photographer Erin Smithson, played by Rachel Leigh Cook, finds herself unwittingly caught up in Santa’s Operation Wish. Santa, portrayed by T. Mychael Rambo, alongside his elves Chuck and Debbie, sets out to grant three magical Christmas wishes to those in need of holiday cheer.
However, Erin, drowning in skepticism, believes the emails proclaiming her as the chosen recipient are nothing but spam. Frustrated and with Christmas approaching, she makes a wish that Christmas never existed. Little does she know, her wish has unforeseen consequences, and she becomes the sole person in the world who remembers the holiday.
With the help of Sam, played by Sam Page, a recent blind date, Erin strives to reintroduce her family to the Christmas traditions she cherishes. As the clock ticks down to Christmas Eve, can Erin’s efforts, coupled with a sprinkle of elf magic and Sam’s belief, revive the forgotten holiday and perhaps unwrap the greatest gift of all—love?
