The Haunting of Hill House Plot
The Haunting of Hill House series from Netflix is a current-day reimagining of Shirley Jackson’s cult classic horror novel. While the original story showed a scientist trying to prove existence of paranormal forces, the new series is about five siblings who grew up in the most famous hauntedhouse in America.
The series begins in the current times with the kids as adults. The siblings have come together as result of the suicide of their youngest sister. The tragic event has forced them to finally look back the ghosts of their own pasts – some which lurk in their minds – and some that might really be hiding in the recesses of the iconic Hill House.

The series changes the original story quite a bit, but also retains the core philosophy that the evil resides within our minds. It begins at a slightly slow pace, but if you stick through the first couple of episodes, the horror fan inside you will be rewarded. So if you are in the mood to feel some goosebumps and surprises, you will like the series.
