Hanged Till Death is a fictional story inspired by Yakub Memom, the 1993 Mumbai blast accused who was sentenced to death. The director claims that he wanted to tell a story that quells the discussion about how muslims in the country do not feel safe or are threatened. The movie was held up by the Censor board multiple times and that introduced a delay. The album begins with a melancholic but intense composition Dil Me Kayi Armaan that maintains the tense mood of the lyrics and the movie. Aman Trikha sings the song with very well and communicates the pain in the song. Raabta Tujhse Raha is an upbeat song and is melodious with classical vocal interludes. The song could have done without the chorus that kind of disturbs the otherwise romantic mood of the song. But it could still groe on you and make it to your playlist.
Jashn Manale Re is the promised item number sung by Supriya Pathak and Mahesh Matkar. Supriya Pathak sings the song in the right mood. The song uses Arabic music rhythms well and might make it to your upbeat songs list.
