John Tinker and David Golden write the story based on the true story of Paula and Gery Conover, owners and proprietors of the Charlotte Inn on Martha’s Vineyard, one of the top inns in America. The movie is directed by Michael Robison with Chesapeake Shores star Kimberly Sustad in the lead role.

A Godwink Christmas Movie Plot
A Godwink Christmas movie story revolves around Paula who is recently engages and visiting her aunt in New England. An antiques appraiser, Paula has reluctantly accepted her boyfriends proposal for marriage. When her aunt senses that Paula seems unsure of what she feels about the engagement, she invited her to New England.
While there, Paula bumps into a handsome inn owner Gery, on a nearby island of Martha’s Vineyard. Bad weather ensures that she is held back on the island and has to stay at Gery’s inn. With the festivities in air, the two begin to feel for each other, but part ways when the weather clears.
Seeing all this, Paula’s aunt is convinced that the events are God’s way of winking at Paula and implores her to reconsider her decision. When her boyfriend Daniel surprises her by spontaneously arriving in Nantucket, Paula decides to move forward with their marriage plans. But Paula is still unsure and must decide before it is too late.
