The Gloaming series on Starz is a new detective drama that comes with a hint of supernatural. Science tells us that once we are dead we are dead. The Gloaming series follows Molly McGee and Alex O’Connell as they begin to investigate a brutal murder.
A woman is found brutally murdered in the woods. As the two begin to investigate, the clues soon point to murders that happened in the past and some that are still under investigation.
As they dig deeper a larger conspiracy comes to fore as it connects to shady business deals, corrupt politicians, and some odd supernatural occurrences.
Alex and Molly who share a tragic past, find themselves deeper in this web. In a harrowing journey to find the truth, their fate is coerced by the ghosts of the unsettled dead that linger in the liminal space between life and death – known as “The Gloaming.”
