However, the show created by Kay Cannon (New Girl) is restricted to the inspiring part of the story and will focus on her struggles and fights.

Girlboss Story
The series set in San Francisco, CA begins with Sophia Marlowe homeless with an eviction notice thrown in her face. Sophia has confessed that she didn’t have much respect for authority. The first part of the series shows us this Sophia. Nasty, headstrong, and rebellious. But through all this negativity, shines through a business mind.
She begins to look for things people throw away, hunts things through thrift stores, and begins to trade vintage fashion on eBay. The rest of the series charts the protagonists way to becoming a CEO of a fashion label.

Most critics find that the timing of the show is off as the success story isn’t what it was last year. And the character that it is based on has also received a lot of flak from employees at Nasty Gal. As for the entertainment part, here’s what people have to say about Girlboss on Netflix,
