As the captivating Casteel family saga moves forward a bit more, we enter a new era in the new movie Gates of Paradise, on Lifetime. Most people would laugh at the mention of a family curse or bad luck spanning generations. But when you look closely, sometimes it does feel real. In the latest installment of the Casteel movie series we get to see what life has in store for Heaven’s daughter Annie and can it be any different for her.

Scarlett Lacy adapts the movie based on Virginia C. Andrews’ Casteel series based in the mountains of West Virgina. Paul Shapiro directs the family drama with Annalise Basso in the lead role. The fourth movie in the series premieres on August 17 2019.

Gates of Paradise Lifetime Movie Plot
Gates of Paradise movie takes the story forward as we follow Heaven’s daughter Annie and her life and struggles. While Heaven fought for the Casteel family all her life Annie’s struggles begin after her parents dies in a car crash.
Annie is promptly whisked to the Farthinggale Manor under the watchful and threatening eyes of Tony Tatterton. As Annie grapples with the grief of losing her parents and being away from Luke – her childhood friend, stepbrother, and now the love of her life, there is more waiting for her at the manor.
She soon discovers a cabin in the woods of Farthinggale manor where secrets about her past are revealed and begin to haunt her. Even as she yearns to see Luke again, her hopes and dreams are darkened by the sinister Casteel spell.
