Anything that has any sexual content spreads in India like wildfire and reaches the top of the charts withing hours. AltBalaji’s new original is no different. The limited ten episode series takes viewers to the rural lands where extramarital affairs and exploitation of women is much more common than in the urban spaces.
In each episode of Gandi Baat series viewers get to see a new story that touches on subjects related to sexual preferences and adventures. While there are some which indicate coercion, there are also that highlight voluntary cases spearheaded by women. These stories come with many twists and turns and there is more to the tales than meets the eye. The misogynistic view of the rural population is evident in every story and it kind of gets boring after a point.
