It is difficult to imagine what life would be like near the polar North. But Fortitude season 1 and 2 captured the beauty and the harshness of the landscape in an entertaining psychological thriller when it premiered in 2015. With stellar audience and critics reviews, Fortitude Season 3 returns on Sky Atlantic later this year and concludes the mystery.
Fortitude Season 3 Cast
Written by Simon Donald, the third and final series will be directed by Kieron Hawkes and sees most of its original cast return to the show. There will also be come new cast members joining in that will be announced in the coming months. Fortitude Series three will be a four-part miniseries that will be released in 2018.

Fortitude Season 3 Plot
In the first two seasons we ere introduced to this quaint town with tightly-knit community living in harmony and free of any crime or violence. However that changed when an animal carcass was discovered and a research scientist was killed. With increasing distrust and melting snow, the town uncovers many new secrets hidden deep under the snow.
Fortitude season 3 picks up where the second finished with the death of Governor Munk hanging over the town. Two new police officers are in town from Oslo, sent to Fortitude to investigate the murder, and soon learn the inhabitants of the most staggeringly beautiful place on earth have a lot to overcome.
