‘Followers Netflix series’ depicts Tokyo with the authentic fashion and lifestyles of two groups of women living there.
Among the city’s constantly evolving streets and residents, there exists a group of women who have achieved success with their own two hands by catching and capturing Tokyo life “right now”.
Loving, yet fiercely independent, these women lead resolute lives unbound by morals and brimming with confidence. Unbeknown to those around them however, these women also struggle with loneliness and conflicts.
On the other side, there is a younger generation of troubled, reckless and impatient “nobodies” struggling to make their own way in life. Each possessing infinite potential, they move between states of unfounded confidence and frustration but there’s one thing they all desire: happiness they can call their own.
However, the severities of reality stand in their way. Through social media, the lives of these women begin to intertwine in unexpected ways as they fight for survival on the mellifluous city streets of Tokyo.
