The movie opens with a distresses 911 call on which a teenager boy reports a murder, as if in daze having no connection or recall of the incident. But as the investigation into the incident begins, facts point toward a more chilling truth.
Charity Lee’s 13-year-old son Paris killed his baby half-sister Ella brutally in 20o7. The reports indicated that the baby girl was beaten ruthlessly and stabbed 17 times.
A mother’s love and ability to forgive he only son is tested as she is left questioning both his chance at redemption and her ability to forgive. The movie peels back the layers to reveal a history previously marked by intra-family violence, illuminating the anatomy of a broken family.
