The songs stick to Indian classical mood and those who like this type of music will like the slow-paced tracks in the movie. Dongri Ka Raja Music Review
The album opens with Naina sung by Altamash Faridi and is a typical composition that every third Bollywood movie had in the last few years. There is a comfort of familiar rhythms, but nothing new here. Arijit Singh and Chinmayi Sripadi sing Piya Tu Piya, which is a romantic song leaning toward an Indian classical feel. You won’t mind this one on your romantic playlist of 2016.
Madad Al Madad is a run-of-the-mill qawwali with rhythms similar to many other Sufi songs of recent times. But that doesn’t mean its not good and can make it to your Sufi tracks playlist this year.
The only fast track in the movie comes from Meet Brothers with words from Kumaar. Meet Bros. give this one a UP touch over Punjabi rhythms, but cannot make it catchy enough to be impressed to get addicted to the song. Mamata Sharma, however, sings the song in the right mood and energy and that is the only part which seems going for the song.
