Hey horror fans! Have you heard about Do Not Enter yet? Because if not, you better mark your calendars (and maybe update your will). This upcoming indie horror thriller looks like it’s going to take the urban exploration genre to a whole new level of WTF.
The Plot Thickens
So, here’s the lowdown: the story follows a group of adrenaline junkies called The Creepers (great name, right?), who are basically the kind of people who think it’s a good idea to livestream themselves poking around abandoned places. Their latest “brilliant” idea? Breaking into the Paragon Hotel in New Jersey — a crumbling relic that’s got it all: a shady mobster history, ghost rumors, and whispers of $300 million hidden somewhere inside. Yeah, you read that right: $300 million!
The second these wannabe influencers step inside, it’s like the hotel itself wakes up angry. Not only do they have rival scavengers to worry about, but there’s something way worse stalking them in the shadows — supernatural creatures with a taste for fresh meat (and probably TikTok clout, too).
If you’re anything like me, you love a good “bad decisions in a haunted place” movie, and Do Not Enter looks primed to deliver. Think Grave Encounters meets The Descent, but with a Gen Z influencer twist. I’m already obsessed.
The Stars Emerge
The cast is stacked, too: Jake Manley, Adeline Rudolph, Francesca Reale, Shane Paul McGhie, Kai Caster, Javier Botet (king of creepy roles!), with Nicholas Hamilton, Brennan Keel Cook, and Laurence O’Fuarain rounding it out. If you’ve seen any modern horror, you know that’s a recipe for some juicy performances.
a dilapidated hotel straight out of your nightmares — rotting hallways, flickering lights, and vague, shifting shadows that’ll make you squint at your own closet door tonight. Add to that some gnarly creature effects and a sense of absolute dread, and Do Not Enter might just be the scariest horror surprise of the year.
So, horror fam: are you ready to check into the Paragon Hotel? Because in this movie, the real question is… will you ever check out?
Let me know what you think in the comments — and if you’d risk a night in an abandoned mobster hotel for a shot at fame (or a $300 million payday). 😱
