Delilah series follows Delilah Connolly, a headstrong highly principled lawyer who must now choose between friendship and justice.
Living in Charlotte, North Carolina, Delilah left a demanding white-show legal firm nearly a decade ago to take care of her family. She was busy raising her two kids Maia and Marcus, along with a young nephew.
Now, once again, she has dipped her toes in the legal world and takes on cases the big firms ignore and finds herself, more often than not, going head-to-head with the powerful and privileged as she fights for the disenfranchised.
But her life takes a turn when she finds out she is up against her best friend Tamara for the first time. Tamara has always represented the wealthy and powerful. But this case is different: this time, Delilah’s most cherished friendship is on the line, and there are lives at stake.
Can Delilah out aside her personal feeling toward the opposing counsel and get her clients the justice they deserve. Can she fight tooth and nail with her best friend to win for those who need it the most?
