Death She Wrote follows Lila, a crime author, who surprisingly misses the signs of an impending crime and threat to her own life.
Lila is a successful crime author and her books often hit the bestseller lists. Overwhelmed by the routine tasks and to focus on her main work, Lila hire Mary, as an assistant.
Mary is a fan of the author and is eager to do whatever work she assigns her. But her obsession with Lila’s life soon takes hold of her. She embeds herself in all aspects of Lila’s life and unbeknownst to her starts communicating as Lila to her fans and even her publisher.
She also manages to convince Lila that Lila is going mad and begins to project herself as a carer. But Lila slowly grow suspicious of Mary’s true intentions. But what she does not know is Mary intends to murder her and take her identity.
Can Lila figure out Mary’s plan in time to save herself, or will she fall prey to Mary’s devious plans.
