Death By HoneyBee Story
Josiah Reynolds lives on the Kentucky River, surrounded by antebellum estates, a land where the grey and blue fought and spilled blood. She is a beekeeper who survives by selling honey at the farmers’ market.
One morning, she finds a dead man among her bees. Police call it a murder and Josiah is the top suspect. Her influential daughter gets her a top defense lawyer. Josiah is not one to sit still, though. She works her farmers’ market network and stumbles across a decades old event that may have a bearing on the present.
Josiah Reynolds slowly unravels the mystery and tries to find the real killer. Do the threatening notes in her mail mean she’s getting closer?
Death By HoneyBee Review
I didn’t want to leave the world Josiah lives in. Matt, her tenant and friend is adorable. Her hotshot lawyer is formidable. In the small region of Kentucky where Josiah lives, friendships go back generations.
But so do grudges and rivalries. ‘Death by a HoneyBee’ has a deep plot and keeps you hooked until the end. I loved this book and am definitely looking forward to reading the other books in this series – Death by Drowning, Death by Bridle and Death by Bourbon!
