Sometimes we even yearn for a little bit of thrill to get out of a slump. But our desire for thrill can soon spiral into danger when we involve a stranger into the mix.

Dead in the Water movie on Lifetime follows Tara and Amy as they plan the perfect vacation to a lake house in the woods.
Tara is successful vlogger and in a happy relationship, that is until her boyfriend dumps her. Devastated by the new developments Tara has hit a slump.
To cheer-up her friend and help her have some fun, the two decide to visit Amy’s parents’ lake house in the woods. Her they chance upon a young man. Naturally effortless and charming he worms his way into their vacation. The girls too decide to have some harmless fun and enjoy their time in the woods.
However, the man becomes a sour point between the two as emotions run high. The friends suddenly find themselves doubting each other and latent grudges begin to surface.
The question is, is it just the two old friends bickering or is their something more devious at work here?
