Danger in the Spotlight movie follows Martha as her efforts to regain custody of her daughter are thwarted by a suspicious accident.
Martha’s happy life comes crashing after she loses her son. The sorrow pushes her into addiction and she also loses custody of her daughter. But she is determined to win her back and begins to turn her life around.
Life gives her a second chance when the courts agree for a custody hearing. But Martha gets into an accident and wakes up drunk, although se knows she doesn’t drink anymore.
Guilt takes over and she decides to help the victim of her accident and becomes her caretaker nurse. But she soon realizes that something is amiss and once again starts questioning how she was smelling of alcohol when she didn’t drink.
Finally, it dawns on her that the accident may not be an accident at all but a well planned set up. Was to keep her away from her daughter? Was the couple she was helping behind it all?
