San Diego is under the shield of Superheroes as Comic Con 2016 gets underway. There is a lot to cheer for superheroes and comics character fans who cannot get enough of Hulk or Wonder Woman.
Comic Con 2016 news For Marvel Fans
- Hulk will be featuring in upcoming Thor movie in 2017.
- In TV, Marvel’s DareDevil is set to come back for a third season in association with Netflix.
- September will see the premiere of Luke Cage, the supporting character for Jessica Jones
- Marvel creates a new team to face a new threat. The Defenders: Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist join hands to stand up to their worst enemy.
Comic Con 2016 news for Warner Bros. and DC Comics Fans
Wonder Woman gets a new movie in 2017 starring Gal Gadot and Chris Pine. The engaging trailer shows Wonder Woman fighting in different timelines, but you can guess that the main plot of the story is set during World War II, the time most of these comic characters were born.
Batman recruits a very eager and excited Flash in this new Justice League movie Trailer. After Batman V Superman Bruce Wayne has been chosen to lead the Justice League. The trailer is not as exciting as Wonder Woman though. The movie is set to release in November 2017.
King Arthur: Legend of the Sword is another gem from Warner Bros and DC which comes out in March 2017. Grand sets, fast action, and lots of sword fighting, this one is a treat for fans of Gladiator, Troy and the likes.
For Harry Potter fans there is a new installment of Fantastic Beasts in coming. A new era of magic begins as vicious magical creatures escape and invade American cities.
Other Headlines at Comic Con 2016
Star Trek franchise has announced a new show in 2017: Star Trek Discovery. This series will show the events and life on Starship Discovery, Designation NCC1031. The ship design is similar to the iconic Starship Enterprise, onnly this one seems to have more straight lines.
