Chronicle Mysteries The Wrong Man movie story takes Alex McPherson on a new hunt as the husband of the victim asks her to once and for all clear the cloud of suspicion hanging over his head.
Alex is now the Managing Editor of The Chronicle, but still want to keep the crime podcast going. When Mike Thurman comes to the office, Alex agrees to look into the case and begins to dig through the hordes of files.
Mike is acquitted, but people still believe he had a hand in the murder of his wife. His affair at the time and presence of the paramour also adds to the whispers. But when the investigation takes Alex and Drew on a new path that might involve the Philly based mob, the dangers of digging up the dirt becomes all too real.
As Alex gets near to the truth, and the carjacker who was convicted for the murder begin to look innocent, the real killer will stop at nothing to keep Alex from finding the truth – even kill again if he has to.
