Recovered Movie Plot
Recovered movie from the Chronicle Mysteries series follows true-crime podcaster Alex McPherson as her work takes her to uncover an old crime.
On her latest project, Alex travels to a small town in Pennsylvania where she spent her summers as a child. While gathering information on her project, Alex is reminded on the traumatic disappearance of her friend 20 years ago and decided to dig deeper.
When local newspaper editor reluctantly agrees to help Alex retrace the steps of the little girl years ago, they both are surprised to find out the shocking truth. It is evident from the information they dig up that she was probably murdered and the evidence skillfully hidden.
However, when Alex links her inquiries about the missing girl to a recent murder, she quickly realizes that she might just be the killer’s next target.
