Every year the Kranks go all out for Christmas. But this year, their daughter Blair is away, and Mr.Krank (Tim Allen) has the bright idea of going away on holiday to some tropical paradise. The only catch – skipping Christmas! Mrs.Krank (Jamie Lee Curtis) is almost convinced, until daughter calls to say she’s coming home after all. What follows is the story of how the Kranks put up the best Christmas together in a matter of 12 hours.

While Luther Krank thinks Christmas has become commercial and wants to skip it, the whole town rallies round once they find out Blair’s coming home. Everyone pitches in to show Blair and her fiance’ the best Christmas ever. There is a lot of humor in this film, for both kids and adults.
Christmas with the Kranks is a must watch with the family, and overflows with Christmas cheer. Highly recommended for anyone feeling put out by all the craziness. There is definitely more to Christmas than retail therapy.
