We have had various movies and animated series based on Count Dracula the king of Vampires. Now, Netflix brings vampire action fans another adventure from the past in a new animated series Castlevania. The new Netflix original is based on a Nintendo game from the eighties and tells the story of Vampire hunting Belmont family.

Written and Prorduced by Warren Ellis, Castlevania cast has a strong cast and an exciting story. The animation for the series is done by Federator Studios and Powerhouse Animation Studios who have worked extensively on games before.

Castlevania Plot
The animated series is set in the fifteenth century Eastern Europe. Count Dracula (Graham McTavish) along with his army of monsters has started to ravage Eastern Europe. The church that previously feared the Belmont family for their superhuman abilities have called them back from exile to stop Dracula. Spearheading the fight is Trevor Belmont (Richard Armitage), the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula Tepe himself. Joining him the battle with dracula are Sypha Belnades (Alejandra Reynoso), a sorceress with powerful elemental magic spells.
