Blue Miracle follows Omar who must find a way to save his orphanage after a hurricane batters them and leaves children with nowhere to go.
Omar runs an orphanage Casar Hoga with Becca for children who have nowhere to go. Although the kids are reluctant to stay there, they slowly connect to the place and Omar. But when Cabo faces one of the worst hurricanes in the coty’s history, the orphanage is battered and flooded.
With all their stores gone and minimal resources at their disposal, Omar and the kids must find a way to survive the catastrophe. Their call foe help is answered when Wayne Bisbee allows a former champion Wade participate in a fishing tournament with Omar and the Kids on his team.
The group must now come together and do all they can to with the coveted $250,000 championship to keep the orphanage afloat.

Is Blue Miracle Based on True Story?
Yes. The movie is based on the events of Bisbee’s Black & Blue Fishing Tournament 2014 where a team of local orphans and caregiver who had never fished caught a 385 pound blue marlin to win the tournament. The team was able to participate in the tournament which has otherwise a prohibitive entry fee with help of an anonymous donor and Bisbee Fish & Wildlife Conservation Fund.
