Style is highly subjective and for most of us fashion shows around the world seem to showcase outfits that seem too out there. But the designers at Blenders Pride Magical Nights fashion show at Poona Club dazzled the Pune audience on 18th November 2016. With traditional and western bridal outfits, the designers showcased an outfit for every occasion around a wedding. Pune’s very own Balalaika band had audience on their feet with a mix of new songs and medley of old songs, which had people swinging to their tunes. Not to forget the gorgeous Zareen Khan who left everyone speechless in a Shivan and Narresh creation. And Bollywood and music is too irresistible an combination for us at MovieRecipe.
Fashion, Music, and Style are the essence of living life in Style, and no one defines Style as good as Bollywood, in India. Mr. Raja Banerji, AVP, Pernod Ricard India, echoed this sentiment on the occasion and shared how Blenders Pride Magical Nights strives to bring Fashion, Music, and Bollywood together for audiences to taste life in style.
John and Hetu Fernandez opened the show with their Indian Bridal outfits. The outfits were a combination of traditional designs and some with off-shoulder creations for the evening look. Shivan and Narresh presented the audience with western bridal wear that included a range of designs catered to different functions and post wedding engagements. These included Saris with geometric patterns and evening gowns for the Cocktail Party. The designers also showcased swimwear and some informal designs for the bride that could come in handy for a destination wedding.
Krunal Parekh from Balalaika charged the evening with new songs and high-pitched vocals as the band sung a mix of Sufi and old Hind movie songs. He was accompanied by Swapnil Dhawale on Drums and Alaap Shrivastav on guitar.
The showstopper, of course, was the beautiful and charming Zareen Khan who wowed everyone in a Shivan and Narresh outfit. Zareen Khan said,
“Style for me is being able to evolve at each step in life. My style statement is influenced by the variety of roles I have played, the unique characters and their stories have inspired me to challenge and re-invent myself. I am thrilled to be a part of Blenders Pride Magical Nights, as it is all about celebrating style.”
After Hyderabad, Chandigarh, and Pune, Blenders Pride magical Nights could be headed for your town next. So make sure you don’t miss the opportunity to taste life in style.
