Dhyani Dave is no stranger to us. Apart from Bigg Boss 10 analyst, the 25-year-old international chess master from Gujarat has been voted as one of the 100 top women achievers of India in 2016 and was invited to lunch with President Pranab Mukherjee. She holds a record in the Limca Book of Records for playing chess simultaneously with 150 players. The star player from Gujarat has been felicitated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat.
Dhyani loves to dissect India’s most popular reality show Bigg Boss. For her, the Big Boss house is like a chess bard and the inhabitants are like pawns, rooks, and King. She watches the show every night and schemes, plots and plans moves for the contestants, just like a great game of chess. Hoping they would somehow (through some magical fate) be able to follow her mind.
“Sadly, they seldom do,” Dhyani laments as she laughs. “They prefer to shout and scream, more than manipulate with their minds,” adds the wiz of chessboard mind games. So going by the low-TRP reports this season, what’s Dhyani’s (or rather her mind) answer to prop up the show again.
“Oh Simple,” exclaims Dhyani. “BB10 had an annoying over-loud woman, whose voice sometimes failed to come out properly. Her name was Priyanka Jagga. Get her back on the show and tickle-torture her to death.” LOL. ‘Tickle-torture!’ ROTFL. Now that’s some checkmate plan. But we wonder who will accept the responsibility to execute it :p
“And yes, Jagga needs to spend some quality time with VJ Bani and learn English,” chuckles Dhyani. Gee! ‘Quality time.’ ‘QUALITY time’ and Priyanka Jagga! Now that’s an optimistic take on a person, if there can be one.
Not sure if the other megastar Salman Khan would take kindly to this suggestion, but Dhyani has had the privilege to play chess with Bollywood’s most intelligent megastar Aamir Khan a couple of times.
