Bid For Love movie on BET+ is a thriller drama that shows us that yearning for love can sometimes put people in a vulnerable state.
What is the Movie About?
The movie follows Sasha as a series of failed relationships put her in a vulnerable position but not any smarter.
Sasha has worked all her life to stay away from crime and avoid unpleasantness at all times. However, when she fall in love with Memphis, things begin to change. Memphis seems alright, but soon Sasha faces arrest and finds out that he is a drug trafficker.
After a stint in prison, Sasha is released. She soon finds a comforting shoulder in Malik. Malik showers her with expensive gifts and is always willing to support her. But soon, he begins to alienate he from her family and friends. Sasha is blind to all this as Malik begins to keep absolute control on Sasha’s life.
Her eyes open up when her therapist friend reminds her that all her relationships take a similar turn and this might not be any different. But can Sasha wrest control out of Malik or will he prove to be the dangerous of them all?
