Bhoomi Music Review
The album begins with a stock track from Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. While his fans will love the track it is not necessarily one of his best songs. But Kho Diya sung by Sachin Sanghvi will definitely grab your attention with its soulful rendition. The song has a classical touch that also reminds of Ghazal style compositions. Sachin-Jigar use the violin well here to give you a melodious track that you will want to go back to.
The duo also give fresh dance compositions with the two fast tracks int he album. Trippy Trippy is addictive enough to not make you want to turn the music down. While Will You Marry Me starts on an interesting note and the song intro does get you hooked by its mischievous mood, the song fails to maintain the interest as it settles into common rhythms.
Sukhwinder Singh’s vocals add to the ominous mood of the composition. The song gets the tone of the movie events right and complements words Priya Saraiya. Jai Maata Di carries the mood of Daag forward and gives a listeners an intense devetional track that appeals to the dark and vengeful side of the goddess.
Movie Recipe Picks: Kho Diya Hai, Jai Mata Di
MovieRecipe Verdict: Interesting compositions with only a couple of tracks that you will want on your devices.
