Behen Hogi Teri marks another romantic comedy this year after as series of failures. With only a couple making any mark, this one hopefully will get you some laughs. The story is about Gattu and Binny, who live in the same neighborhood but are coached to look at each other as siblings all life. Now they have a problem. All grown up and completely in-tune with each other, Gattu needs to find out a way to convince the conservative neighborhood of their love for each other and get their blessings. Behen Hogi Teri Music Review
The soundtrack complements the romantic comedy well and is a mix of dance numbers and a romantic song, with a devotional number thrown in that completes the neighborhood setting in the movie. As far as remixes go Jaanu Meri Jaan does a good job. Raftaar has become a regular feature int these and adds nothing new or more to the track that could have been just as good without his bit.
Jai Maa repurposes Kaala Chashma for a devotional track and you will hear this more in the coming months as the Devi pooja days begin in a couple of months in India. Tenu Na Bol Pawaan Mein captures the essence of the movie and the reprise version sung by Asees Kaur sounds much better than the duet.
Teri Yaadon Mein is fast paced, groovy track that can fit into the Dance genre as well as a romantic track and is definitely one of the better songs in the album along with Amjad Nadeem’s Tenu Na Bol Pawaan Mein.
