The 80s film is back in a lively and musical performance along with the devious demon in all its glory on Broadway this week. After performances through the first half of the month, the play now opens for the public. Beetlejuice is a musical play that follows young Lydia as she travels with her parents to an old house and finds it haunted.

Tony Award nominee Alex Timbers directs the play written by Michael McDowell and Larry Wilson. Eddie Perfect composes an original score for the story based on the book by Anthony King. The show debuts on Broadway on April 25 2019. The show is scheduled to run all through the summer.

Beetlejuice Musical Plot
Beetlejuice musical follows Lydia as she comes to a haunted house in Connecticut with her real estate developer father. The house belongs to a recently deceased couple who is still getting a handle on being dead.
The two are trapped in limbo and must spend 125 years as ghosts to wait until its their turn. Lydia Deetz on the other hand is obsessed by the whole concept of death and life. So when she finds a book about how to live when dead, a new world opens up to her.
With a scary demon hanging around the ghosts, Lydia decides to use him to scare away her parents. But there is always a huge price to pay when the demon is involved. With Beetlejuice making the perfect plan to drive away her parents, there is no dearth of bizarre events and some ghostly tactics.
