‘Awkwafina is Nora From Queens’ is loosely based on Awkwafina’s real life experiences growing up in Flushing, Queens.
The series follows Nora, raised by her dad grandma, along with her cousin. As Nora navigates the challenges of life and day-to-day experiences of young adulthood in the outer borough of New York, she leans on her family to find the right answers and solutions.
