An Unexpected Christmas follows Jamie as he tries to keep his recent breakup under wraps during the Christmas week back home.
Jamie has had a steady relationship with his girlfriend Emily for a long time now. Everyone in his family is happy for Jamie and they love and adore Emily. But Jamie breaks things off with Emily just before Christmas, as he travels for the holidays home.
His family is eager to meet Emily again and Jamie feels the pressure. When Emily shows up unexpectedly in town, Jamie offers her a deal. He will help her get the governor for her marketing campaign, and in return, she will keep being his girlfriend during the holidays.
Join them as the two experience a week of awkward fumbling and near misses asthey try desperately to keep their true relationship status a secret.
Eventually, their ruse begins to unravel. Just when it seems like Christmas has been ruined,
