What is the OWN Movie About?
A Christmas Stray follows Ethan as he gets stuck in snow in a remote town and ends up finding much more than just a place to stay.
Ethan is a hotshot corporate executive, buried in his work and eager to rise up the ladder as fast as he can. While everyone else is planning for the holidays, Ethan has his work planned. But his plans go haywire when he meets with a minor accident.
Furious at first, Ethan finds himself pining for the dog who came across his vehicle and forced him off the road. With the car damaged, and the dog slightly injured, Ethan goes looking for help for the dog.
He bumps into Foster, who also happens to be a veterinarian. Her free spirited demeanor draw Ethan and the two share a moment. Foster too is not too keen on Christmas but Ethan begins to see the magic of the season and tries to bring some joy in the proceedings.
Unable to leave the dog, and drawn to Foster, Ethan finds himself out of his comfort zone.
