A Castle For Christmas follow an American author as she escapes to Scotland to avoid a scandal at home.
Sophie Brown is a famous author and a darling of the legions of fans who are just waiting for her next book. But when a nasty scandal breaks, Sophie decides it is best to take some time off from the country. She chooses to spend the holidays in Scotland, away from the crowds.
Once there she is mesmerized by the beauty of the local castle. Her love for the property drives her to find the owner of the castle and propose that he sell her the castle. But the Duke is no mood to sell the castle to a foreigner who might not understand the traditions an be insensitive to local interests.
Sophie is undeterred by the Duke brush-off and keeps engaging him on multiple locations and times. As they butt heads and argue, there might just be a little more than the castle in the offing than what Sophie bargained for.
