Being strong headed and having problem with authority are many times branded as failure when it comes to troubled youth. However, if these youth full of vigour and energy find the one thing that they connect with, they can be exemplary at it. Released in 2013, Our Girl was inspired by one such candidate who went on to become one of the best combat medics in the Royal Army medical Corps. After successful couple of seasons, Our Girl Series 3 is back on BBC One with three tours as she travels to Nepal amidst disastrous earthquake.

Our Girl Series 3 comes with a 12-episode season with three different tours undertaken by Corporal Geoargie Lane. Filmed in Kathmandu and Cape Town, the series will take the viewers to war zones and disaster locations from a perspective of a soldier.

Our Girl Series 3 Plot
In a 12-part series commission, Our Girl series 3 will comprise of three separate tours. This first tour of four episodes finds Georgie on a relief mission in Nepal following a devastating series of earthquakes.
Gutsy, passionate and unstoppable, Georgie is an army medic from Stockport who relishes the adrenaline that comes with the adventures of her work. Having completed a number of tours, she’s proven she has strength, courage and, above all, a big heart. Georgie’s decision to join the army has since led her to the front line in Afghanistan, where she met her first true love and heartbreak, Elvis.
Additionally tasked with mentoring the young and rebellious new 2-Section recruit Private Maisie Richards , Georgie will have to tackle an unpredictable natural landscape and an increasingly dangerous human threat to the area, alongside the reappearance of Elvis.
Fearless, self-confident and cool under pressure, Elvis has worked across both covert and overt operations fighting for counter terrorism and drug operations in the Middle and Far East, Afghanistan, and, most recently, Syria. Having already broken Georgie’s heart, he’s determined to make amends.

Episode 1
When Georgie meets Milan (Rudi Dharmalingam), an attractive Nepalese engineer, a bond starts to form between them whilst working together to rebuild the local area. Whilst on a tour of the village an aftershock causes a temple to collapse, trapping Georgie and Milan inside.
Episode 2
Thanks to Maisie’s quick thinking, Georgie and Milan are both pulled alive from the collapsed temple. However, before they can catch their breath, they realise Tara, a young local girl previously befriended by Georgie, and a small group of children have been abducted by De Chand, a fake NGO worker.
Military intelligence discovers that he’s part of a terrorist network and it is hoped he will lead them to a more important target, Aatan Omar. 2-section receive instructions to track him and to assist a Special Forces Unit led by a familiar and unwelcome face – Elvis
Episode 3
Georgie is reeling that Elvis is back in her life and concerned for the safety of Tara, but does her best to concentrate on the mission in Afghanistan.
Episode 4
Trapped in the middle of Afghanistan without helicopter support, the team face a long dangerous drive back to Kabul. Elvis takes charge of the journey home. But instead of returning to Nepal, 2-section find themselves supporting another attempt to capture Omar. The consequences for Georgie will change her life forever.
Our Girl – Nigeria Tour
Our Girl returns for the second part of the three part series in June. This time the team will tour Nigeria, Belize, and Bangladesh as Georgie goes on a training mission. The series starts with new episodes on June 5 2018 at 9 PM.

Episode 5
Still grieving and heartbroken from the death of Elvis Harte, Lance Corporal Georgie Lane (Michelle Keegan) is sent to Nigeria on a training mission, alongside 2-section. However, while 2-section work hard helping to equip the Nigerian Army, everyone is soon put on edge when they encounter a local crime boss and a seemingly ruthless band of mercenaries in the village near where a group of school girls have been abducted.
As 2-section try to help the Nigerian forces locate the missing schoolgirls, Georgie unknowingly places herself and other members of 2-section in grave danger, when they go off grid.
Episode 6
With their fate teetering on a knife edge, Georgie and 2-Section are shocked to discover that the local crime boss is actually an undercover Special Forces operative, Bones (Oliver Rix).
