Wisdom of the Crowd TV Show Plot

Wisdom of the Crowd TV Show revolves around Silicon Valley entrepreneur Jeffery Tanner. After the murder of his daughter, and subsequent failure of the detectives to solve her murder, Tanner takes it upon himslef to find out the killer of his daughter.

Inspired by the concept of wisdom of the crowd – that when a million minds take a certain direction, it has to be true or the most likely the truth – Tanner create a information sharing platform called Sophe.

To assist him, Tanner recruits Det. Tommy Cavanaugh, the original cop who investigated the murder but was unceremoniously forced off the case. Working with them is Sara Morton, a brilliant engineer whose relationship with Tanner goes beyond professional; Josh Novak, a talented, nerdy-cool head programmer; and Tariq Bakari, a tech genius and expert hacker with issues adhering to the rules.

Concerned with Tanner’s obsession is his successful ex-wife, Congresswoman Alex Hale, with whom he shares an unbreakable bond over their shared grief. As Tanner taps into the “wisdom of the crowd,” his unexpected success fuels his determination to solve even more cases than just the one that’s personal to him.

Wisdom of the Crowd TV Show Review

The concept is good, but the critics don’t seem too happy about the way the topic is handled, based on the pilot. Exploring technology and involving general crowd in crime investigation in the current scenario can turn out to be disastrous. However, the ethical dilemmas are not part of the narrative. Sharing photo of a suspect on a social platform is also not the best example of ‘wisdom of the crowd’ concept and unless the crime solving becomes a bit more complex, the tech crime drama is staring at danger of being a crime drama with a dash of technology.

We love the new show “Wisdom of the Crowd, but we have one complaint! The girl who plays Sara, the one with the THICK BRITISH ACCENT!!!!! We can’t understand a word she says!!!! When she talks, sheb sounds so muffelled it makes no sence!!! I lived in Great Briton for 31/2 yearsxcand never heard anyone sound like her. She is very distracting.

Jeremy Piven has been accused of sex allegations. Why is he still in the show?
