As we make our way into the festive season, Bollywood has some exciting new Hindi movies coming out in September 2017. Although August was broke the lull at the Box office that started in July, we also had some star studded movies that turned out to be disappointing. Jab harry Met Sejal tanked spectacularly after Salman Khan’s Tubelight and the Indian Box Office was getting gloomy. However, we did get some surprisingly engaging comedies in Mubarakan and Bareilly Ki Barfi.

If August 2017 in Bollywood was all about romance and fun, September opens with a mix of action movies, thrillers and romance and gives everyone something to watch. Here are a few upcoming Hindi movies that should keep your weekends exciting and fun this September.
Badshaho
The month opens with an action thriller heist movie as Ajay Devgn and Emran hashmi take on the Indian Army convoy transporting gold from Rajathan. A long chase and fight for the truck full of gold forms the core of the movie. The action and production of the movie seems spot on and it will be a treat to watch this fast paced thriller at the cinema halls.
KaalaKaandi
The Saif Ali Khan multi-starrer comes with a fresh story and setting. Developed by the writer Director of Delhi Belly, this one takes you to Mumbai and tells the story of a few characters who cross each others path on one fateful Monsoon night. Could this be about July 26 floods? Maybe. We will have to wait a bit more to get more info on this one, but it surely sounds different and interesting.
Lucknow Central
Farhan Akhtar has given us some good movie and stories. He now returns with a story of four prisoners incarcerated in the Lucknow Central Jail. The movie is advertized as an jail break movies, but as the posters say – Plan Kuch aur hai. Well we are sure this will be another interesting movie to watch in September and find out what it is really about.
Bhoomi
Sanjay Dutt returns after a break of nearly four years and will be seen in his first movie after completing his sentence at Yerawada. The movie is touted as a revenge drama and should be about a father’s revenge for the wrongs done to his daughter. Seeing the actor back on screen will be a treat to watch.
