There is more than enough evidence that Indian audiences prefer comedy over any other genre – maybe not saans-Bahu dramas. So if you thought The Kapil Sharma Show was not enough, Sony TV now brings another Comedy series with a mix of stand-up comedians and guests to make you laugh a bit more. The Drama Company is said to have a different format than The Kapil Sharma show, but still will be a vehicle to promote new films and you will see many stars visiting Krushna Abhishek on the set.

The spin-ff or the breakaway faction in The Drama Company has many from the The Kapil Sharma Show and have begun filming with none other than Mithun Da, who makes his TV debut and returns to work after a break of couple of years.

The show will begin with a bang with guests stars like Munna Michael a.k.a Tiger Shroff and Nawazudding Siddique gracing the first episode. Mithun will be playing the role of Shambhu Dada – the owner of The Drama Company and Ali Asgar will fill in the shoes of the ever-present cross-dresser character that apparently people seem to love, on the show.
