As the battle for Historical and Mythological content rages on in the Indian entertainment domain, Colors TV is coming up with another similar series for their audiences. Chandrakanta Colors serial is a revival of old serial on Doordarshan and narrates a story of an abandoned princess and her fight to get back what’s her. Kind of reminds you of Baahubali. However, that is not the only competitor here. Life OK is already telling this story on weekends and Chandrakanta Colros serial will compete with them directly.
Chandrakanta on Colors TV will replace the super successful show Nagin 2 which has ruled the TV ratings for a long time now. No doubt, Ekta Kapoor’s Chandrakanta has big shoes to fill.

Chandrakanta Colors Serial Story
Story of Chandrakanta serial on Colors TV revolves around, of course, Chandrakanta. The new Hindi serial begins with two neighboring kingdoms between a war that has led to Chandrkanta’s family losing everything to an evil queen. To save the young princess, Chandrakanta is abandoned by her parents and is found by a fishing couple who take her home.
As time goes by Chandrakanta grows up to be a dynamic, storing, and determined warrior. Unaware of her past she meets Prince Veerendra Singh, son of the evil Queen who wiped out her family. Veerendra, enamoired by her beaty and strength, falls in love with Chandrakanta.
