Humor is what keeps us going and makes the daily grind bearable. People who can see the funny side of things everyday are truly blessed. For other unfortunates like us, we have to lean on the crutch of funny movies to laugh out loud every now and then.
So let us celebrate humor and plan a week of fun and laughter with some amazing comedy classics from Hollywood.
1. Jerry Lewis in Rock a Bye Baby
I wouldn’t have come across this actor in a million years had it not been for my father to suggest this movie one boring summer. From that time on, I have never missed a Jerry Lewis movie on the TV.
If one baby in Baby’s Day Out could create so much trouble, imagine what quintuplets could do?
2. A Chump at Oxford
You hardly hear about the Laurel & Hardy pair these days. Once a mainstay of local TV broadcast, the pair has vanished with invasion of channels.

3. Modern Times
No classic comedy line-up can be complete without this great guy. In Modern Times, the Little Tramp tries to adjust with the rapidly changing industrialized world. The movie depicts the uneasy romance between Ellen and Chaplin and their continuous trysts with the police.

6. Have Rocket Will Travel
Just as Laurel Hardy and Charlie Chaplin, no Hollywood Classic Comedy list can be complete without The Three Stooges. Also dubbed as their comeback film, Have Rocket Will Travel combines the Sci-Fi and comedy genre as the three stooges travel to planet Venus and must overpower an evil computer to return to Earth.

Carry On Again Doctor is the eighteenth movie in the Carry On series, and it doesn’t get boring. A disgraced doctor stumbles upon a miracle slimming potion on a remote tropical island. 9. A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court
Back To The Future is the ultimate cult movie in time travel. But this literary masterpiece came at least a century before Back To The Future. Starring Jack Lemmon, How to Murder Your Wife is a laugh riot. Getting drink and married might be the usual theme of movies set in Las Vegas, but not in the 60s. Great disasters happen when people are drunk. Stanley Ford, a happily unmarried cartoonist finds that the hard way when he marries Lisi.
