Ek Aastha Aisi Bhi on Star Plus Dopahar

Star Plus Dopahar is coming with four shows on the brink of Summer vacations. Most of the shows have a female lead that is young. This will, perhaps, appeal to the young audience. ‘Ek Aastha Aisi Bhi serial’ is scheduled to reease in April 2017. The serial revolves around Astha, a newly wed, who comes into a new household that is diametrically opposite to her way of life. The new afternoon portfolio of the channel also has shows like Fatmagul remake Kya Kasoor Hai Amla Ka and Dhai Kilo Prem that will keep the viewers glued to the channel all afternoon.

Produced by Dheeraj Sarna, the serial is set in Manali and Kolkata and revolves around the female protagonist Aastha played by a new entrant Tina Philip. Tina Philip is a Londoner and a Chartered Accountant, who gave up her other life to fulfill her dream of acting and joined the Ek Astha Aisi Bhi serial cast.

Ek Aastha Aisi Bhi serial story revolves around the main character Aastha in the new Hindi TV Show. Aastha is married to Shiv who belongs to a family of a God Woman. The family also has many small businesses and is very religious. However, Aastha’s beliefs and nature do not fit in with this religious environment.

Aastha is an atheist (Nastik) and does not believe in the existence of God. However, things do not turn bad initially as no one in her new family is aware of her beliefs, or lack of.

Will this innocent girl challenge the beliefs of her mother-in-law and Godwoman? or will she succumb to the traditions and fraudulent behavior of her new family?
