The remake of hit Hollywood movie It Happened One Night, this Amir Khan and young Pooja Bhatt starrer can’t keep you from feeling all warm and mushy. Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak or QSQT was the superhit movie of the 90s. Taking Bollywood’s yesteryear Khandani Dushmani as the backdrop, the romantic tale follows two teenagers as they fall in love and must fight their families to unite and live together.

Hasee to Phasee

Parineeti Chopra makes any character her own. The geeky, eccentric Meeta is played to a T by Parineeti. Siddhartha Malhotra plays a hapless guy who’s trying to earn millions to please his girl. He unwittingly falls for Meeta and now he must spurn one sister in favor of another. The film is largely enjoyable but has its emotional moments. When cupid’s arrow strikes, not much can be done. Man chalaa teri ore sums it all up.

Ek Duje Ke Liye

Goa is paradise for most folks, and is the perfect setting for love. In the case of Vasu and Sapna, it is forbidden love. Vasu comes from a devout Tamil family while Sapna is a meat eater. They are made to jump through hoops and their love is tested in many ways. Lata Mangeshkar and SP Balasubramaniam sung many of the award winning songs of this 80s blockbuster.
