A busy working mother hires a consultant to keep her work life going and provide her family a fun Christmas. With limited time, she does not want her extended family to know that she can’t handle everything, and at the same time hates to agree that she has hired a consultant to get things in line.

Are you ready to begin the holiday season? If Thanksgiving hasn’t already worn you out, Christmas definitely has the potential to stretch your limits of tolerance. If you don’t believe me, ask Maya (Caroline Rhea), she will tell you how juggling work, family & friends, and the Christmas party can drive you nuts. But then, in our commercial society, we have a solution for all the problems – in comes the Christmas Consultant.
Owen (David Hasselhoff) is this cheery, geeky looking guy who sweeps in with a solution to all your Christmas problems and promises the best family time ever, or is he too good to be true. Just another conman looking to steal your Christmas? Anyway, the Fletchers hire him and the fun begins. The kids like him, the father approves of him, the extended family is charmed and Maya is jealous! Things are well at the end with a bittersweet ending that is typical of a Christmas movie.
The holiday season can take its toll with incessant work assignments, kids with plenty of time on hand, a huge shopping list, and a lot of planning for decoration – and if you want to Deck the Halls it could kill you. If you are experiencing all these symptoms, this movie pill will definitely cheer you up and work as the tonic to push on.
