This is for all you hard rock fans who grew up to the strings of Guns N’ Roses, Bon Jovi, and U2 and the likes. Hard Rock Cafe, Pune is celebrating Summer of the Legends so that you can relive the electrifying music and the cacophony of hoots and cheering of the Live audience.
After a busy weekend, the week was already dragging by Tuesday evening and the Guns N’ Roses Use Your Illusion Tour at the HRC seemed the perfect mid-week boost to tide over the week.
Summer is about concerts and Live shows, but is also about refreshing, hydrating fruits, and ice-cold drinks. The invitation to try the special Summer of the Legends menu and fruit Mojitos drew me to Hard Rock Cafe along with a few other fellow bloggers from Pune.
We kicked-off our evening with some potent fruit Mojitos, which kind of set the bar for the Mojito making competition in the offing. I started off with a Kiwi Mojito which had a very subtle taste of fresh Kiwi and hint of mint.
Hard Rock Cafe is offering a special menu during Summer of the Legends month. After deliberating for a long time, I settled on the MamaMia Chicken Sandwich. The Sandwich was served with a generous helping of Potato wedges appropriately crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The sandwich was a combination of Itlaian and Mexican flavors topped on smokey grilled chicken breast that was cooked just enough. You could taste the Chipotle Mayo and Tapenade as you worked to the center of the sandwich.

I know all of this delicious food talk must be making you hungry, it has definitely got me thinking of my next trip to the Hard Rock Cafe. You know what? You can get an amazing deal on delicious burgers on June 14 2015 at Hard Rock Cafe, Pune. On the Founder’s Day, you can be one of the first 100 customers and get burgers for just Rs. 45!
Fed and excited, we met our judges and mixilogist from AllAboutDaru.com for the evening who laid out the rules for the Mojito mixing event. Nupur introduced us to the various ingredients that we could use to mix our very own special fruit Mojito for the evening.
Well . . . it is easy to gulp a Mojito, but it takes a lot to make that perfect drink. My efforts to make that perfect green apple Mojito fell flat and I got some very useful feedback from the judges.
But there were other fellow bloggers who did great. There were a couple of Lychee based concoctions, one of which came out as a winner.

Hard Rock Cafe is surely a fun place. And all through the evening we had Slash grabbing our attention every now and then with his guitar interludes and some foot tapping drum sequences by Matt Sorum.
Nothing is complete without a selfie any more. And you can get some quirky snaps with your friends and family at the Selfie booth. Grab a headgear and capture the mood of the moment with some witty posters in your hand to complete your evening before you head out to the real world.
