Doctor Strange is the latest character from the Marvel universe that will make a big screen appearance int he Doctor Strange movie. Dr. Stephen Vincent Strange is a former neurosurgeon who now acts as an intermediary between the physical and the metaphysical world. But this was not always so and the movie is about that transformation of Stephen Strange.

Doctor Strange Movie Story
Stephen Strange is a brilliant but egotistical neurosurgeon. He gets into an accident that damages his hands and his future as a surgeon is now in jeopardy. With no options in sight, Stephen embarks on a journey to find a cure and a solution to his problem across the world. This is when he meets the Ancient One, who takes him under her wings. Ancient One is the supreme sorcerer born nearly 500 years ago in the hidden lands of the Himalayas.
Here Stephen Strange learns the mystical as well as the martial arts, as he is forced to question what is real and what is perception. But all these mystical powers and traveling through dimensions is not something Strange can master, his biggest hurdle? His ego and arrogance. He needs to surrender himself to fight and win over Kaecilius – a former student of Ancient One – and his goons, and save the world from their evil plans.
Kaecilius has stolen the most sought scroll from the Ancient One that can make him the most powerful wizard and open the way to the dark side of magic. And this is what Stephen Strange is preparing for – the final battle with Kaecilius.

With almost zero negative reviews, Doctor Strange movie surely seems to be a must watch Hollywood movie this Fall. Audiences in India get an additional blockbuster post Diwali week. As there are no other major releases in the week and this one surely seems to be a film that all will enjoy in the movie halls.
USA Today calls the movie as a kaleidoscope of weirdness with enchanting visual effects and brilliant performances by the actors. A movie that will make visuals from Harry Potter seem amateur, and complexity that will excite fans of The Matrix.
The Hollywood Reporter endorses most of these views and reinforces that character performances add all the more spunk to the movie that relies heavily on visual effects and the bizarre.
