M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story is scheduled to release on 30th September 2016. Bollywood doesn’t make many Sports movies. A couple that we have seen are not really Sports movie as the sport is manly in the background. But with True life incidents and biographicals being the current Bollywood cinema favorites, a movie like M. S. Dhoni was waiting to be made. But I guess this would be one of the first biographical made on an acting captain. If the movie trailers are any indication, the movie seems to be made tastefully and audiences are bound to love the peep behind the current cricketing phenomenon called Dhoni. The music for the film is composed by Amaal Malik and gives listeners a bunch of melodious tracks. Lyrics by Manoj Muntashir do not disappoint, he is one of the better lyricist in Bollywood currently along with Kumaar.

M. S. Dhoni Movie Music Review
The music album opens with Besabriyan and captures the eager and anxious state-of-mind of a young Dhoni working in the Indian Railways. Armaan Malik’s smooth vocals along with the guitar and violin interludes makes this a song that you will want to put on Repeat. Definitely a song you will want on your long drive playlist.
Palak Munchal sings the romantic number Kaun Tujhe with the right amount of sadness in the voice and communicates the mood of the song very well. The lazy rhythm in inviting and flows with the overall mood of the album. Arijit Singh contributes to the other romantic tune of the album, Phir Kabhi. A sports movie cannot be complete without a motivational song. Parwah Nahi tries to fill in this requirement, but fails to inspire. The Rock music track gels with bland lyrics, but is not something that you want to hear when you are down.
MovieRecipe Verdict: A good album with songs you will not mind on your jukebox.
