About the New Series
Imagine being abandoned on a remote tropical island, miles away from civilization, without any maps or tools. That’s exactly the challenge facing the nine brave challengers in the series.
Divided into teams of three, they must swim to different ecosystems on the same island, including a sun-scorched beach, a twisted mangrove swamp, and a dense jungle, to begin their individual quests for survival.
Stripped of their clothing, these contestants must rely solely on their navigational skills and resourcefulness to fashion everything they need from the wreckage and debris strewn across the island. From a shipwreck to an abandoned military jeep and even a crashed airplane, every piece of wreckage becomes a potential lifeline.
Knives, pots, and fire starters are luxuries they don’t have, forcing them to scavenge the area and rely on their ingenuity to create essential items from scratch. It’s a battle against the elements, hunger, and their own physical and mental limits.
But the challenges don’t end there. In a first for the Naked and Afraid franchise, the remaining survivalists must come together and travel to the same extraction point on Day 21. Their mission? To signal a boat for rescue and prove that they have what it takes to conquer the unforgiving wilderness and make it out alive.
Will they be able to set aside their differences and work together for their common goal, or will the pressure and isolation break them apart?
