The Horrors of Dolores Roach series on Prime Video is a horror anthology series based on the Sopitify podcast of the same name. The series is a Sweeney Todd-inspired urban legend of love, betrayal, weed, cannibalism and survival of the fittest.
Series Plot
Dolores Roach is released from prison after 16 years and returns to a gentrified Washington Heights. She reunites with an old stoner friend, Luis, who lets her live and work as a masseuse in the basement under his empanada shop.
When the promise of her newfound stability is quickly threatened, “Magic Hands” Dolores is driven to shocking extremes to survive.
Series Cast
Justina Machado plays Dolores Roach with Alejandro Hernandez as Luis. Kita Updike, K. Todd Freeman also star. The series is created by Aaron Mark who also created the original play.
