Hallmark Movies & Mysteries brings a new series The Jane Mysteries movie with Inheritance Lost as an amateur sleuth goes looking for a murderer.
The series follows Jane DaSilva who finds her life at a fork. A celebrated singer, Jane has never seen herself anything more than a professional singer. But after her parents’ death she ends up with the family detective agency in her lap.
The detective agency was a non-profit organization with only one objective – help those who are not able to help themselves. Determined to continue this tradition, she soon finds herself at the center of a mysterious death investigation as tries to find out the truth about a mother’s death.
With her aunt and uncle by her side to mentor her, Jane embarks on the search for truth. She begins looking for inconsistencies and follows hidden clues she stumbles on a multilevel marketing company that took advantage of her client’s innocent mother.
But digging on deep and raising questions soon lands her in trouble. Unequipped and without any training, Jane must fight her way through the murky world of crime before the murderer strikes again and hurts her or her client.
Jodie Sweetin on Fuller House plays Jane with Paris Jefferson as her Aunt and Stephen Huszar of Chesapeake Shores as Detective John Cameron. Marco Defeumia directs the movie with story from Neale Elizabeth Kimmel.
Inheritance Lost airs on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries on May 12 2023 at 9 PM ET.
